A day in the life of a writer

If someone were to ask, I would describe my occupation as a freelance writer and student. That’s a fancy way of saying I’m unemployed and still in school. Given that I’m not necessarily required to spend my day at any given place, I sleep most of the morning away but try not to ruin my life by sleeping in too much.

I typically spend my day bouncing off the walls in my apartment until I go stir crazy and have to leave the house, at which point I usually just visit my parents because I don’t often like to talk to strangers.

Now, when I am in my apartment, I also have ADD and can not focus on a single thing to save my life. So, most of my day is usually spent watching some sort of movie or tv show or playing a video game of some kind, and since I’m mostly an arts writer, I can usually justify this as some kind of research for my next writing project. I don’t play any multiplayer games anymore, because I despise most everything that’s not Friday the 13th: The Game, and I barely like that one.

I usually eat dinner at roughly 6 P.M. and the point I watch YouTube videos until about 9 P.M. That’s when my day actually gets started, and I begin either studying or working on any of the various projects I have going on at any given time. Because I have such a horrid work schedule, this usually goes until 2 A.M., and I try to go to sleep.

I wake up the next morning, and the cycle begins again. It’s a rather dull existence, but I’ve never been much of an exciting guy, so I don’t mind it too much. Besides, most of my fun stories tend to skew into some legally gray areas and given my audience is mostly family friends, I’ll have to save those for another time.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, I’m excited for the release of Resident Evil 2 tonight and will likely give my opinion that no one asked for either Friday or Saturday! I hope to see everyone stop by again!
